I’ve worked with many super chilled couples before but not like Ben & Doreen.
The two had their registration of marriage in the morning on a peak wedding date right at the chinese Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur.
They were so completely awkward to do anything in front of my camera as if everything to them were cheesy enough. I get it, no one are born a supermodel so I tell the same thing over and over again to every of my couples. The thing is, we just got to try to relax and go with the flow. Embrace that kind of awkward cheesiness once in a lifetime and enjoy the fun!
The lunch was nothing formal but just a simple get together with pizza and pasta. No march in, no speech, no nothing except plenty of booze for the guests haha!
I tried to get both of them to take more portraits together, thankfully, they did and I really like how chilled they were. Thanks to the booze!
