“What matters is what we do with the life we have.”
I love photographing pure couples. No unnecessary work phone calls during the session. I always explain to couples to enjoy the process, make it as a vacation, an actor to a love movie. Prepare music, wine and laughter. And love too, of course. Same to weddings, no fuss no stress. Enjoy the moment. Enjoy life. Enjoy your lifetime partner. Enjoy the day.
Caleb and Kristine are both lovely and have a special taste in minimalist and simplicity in fashion and living. We did an engagement session based on a Kinfolk theme and it ended perfectly well. Both of them are working in Penang and came down for a session which also fell on a Bersih week so coincidentally. I almost wanted to tell them why not we have the photo session in the rally instead. Their wedding rings fits perfectly in the alphabet “O” of Kinfolk, and the beautiful calligraphy in the wedding invitation card. That customisable love flag from Singapore is beautiful as well. I love this session. I love the length of Caleb’s pants. I love Kristine’s simple wedding dress. I love how the wind came in and gently brushes her beautiful hair. I love the awkwardness of them when I requested them to do something cheesy. I love the last image, it is blur I know but I love it. In fact I do love every session I get to experience and photograph honourably. Every love story is different, and special. And I hope you will have your special story too.
