It was beyond excitement and joy when I stepped out from the plane. The day that Carman and Samantha flew me to Melbourne for the wedding. The last I came was as a second shooter, and this time was a little different. I came as the main and only photographer. My first dinner with the family is wonderful, we had Chinese food. At night I slept in a very cosy and beautiful home in Glen Waverley. Everything was arranged well by the couple. The wedding was simple and lovely, close friends and family gathered together for this celebration. At night I sat down with their friends enjoying dinner together while snapping away. Everyone seems relax and real, they talked about their life and asked me about my plans in Melbourne, also gave me some traveling tips. Working in an unfamiliar land give me chills, but their family and friends changes how I feel. Feeling warm and welcome, as one of them. We went to Dandenong for some photos, their sister Vanessa joined us as well. We headed to Rhododendron too but were late. A little disappointed but it was okay. The portrait session was fun and good, we bid farewell after, and meet again for the Chinese wedding back in Kuala Lumpur. It was surely a memorable trip going down to Melbourne, and I’ll be looking forward for another trip to Australia again in 3 weeks time counting from now.
