It is FATE that how I got to know Evelyn is through the same event that I got to know Jennie, when both of them contacted me to take their pre-wedding photos after. How coincidence that I was also scheduled to take these photos the day after Jennie’s Actual Day Wedding as well! Anyway, I am so excited to finally share these images with you all, a styled shoot that have been planned months before. Evelyn told me how much she loves everything whimsical, fantasy and dreamy, rustic vintage as well as her childhood movie that she loves very much, “The Secret Garden“. I think she found the right person cause I love all these too! :p Then, I showed her all my crazy ideas and theme after doing all my pinterest internet research, and she said yes! So the fun part begins when Chin Lay and I personally hand crafted and painted the crates and table in my house even though we have so little time. We both kinda went crazy together when it comes to DIY, decor and crafts, but it’s okay cause it’s nice to know someone who are into the same things that we like very much.
Thank you to the team! Although the day didn’t start well as it rain since morning which delayed the shoot until late afternoon. But everyone is so patience and very helpful, I am feeling very grateful to have you all on the day, without you all, I wouldn’t have these pictures taken. Truly blessed, once again :)
1. Cally Tan – She does all the makeup and hairstyling. The braids and makeup is extremely beautiful! Thank you for coming all the way since early morning, as well as following and offered help all day. I might mentioned this before that I’m just gonna say again, Cally is humble and a very friendly person. And she does very good makeup styling, which is why I engaged her too on my own wedding. I usually just tell her roughly what’s the idea and she immediately knew what I wanted and does the magic. 2. Chin Lay – The very talented one that added final touch and little magic to all the decorations on the day. Chin Lay and I are like a team actually. We both meet up late night to discuss the ideas. We source all the items that we wanted all over the place, she came to my place and start sanding and painting crates, and did a test decor after that. Thank you so much Chin Lay! For your time and everything. I got so busy only taking photos on the day and she is the one who decorated everything from scratch. I am still amazed what we all have done that day and both of you made a perfect spotlight in the photos. Thank you so much for trusting in me. Seeing you both enjoying and making silly laughs throughout the photo session inspires me to continue what I believe in and that I should keep trying :) I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next month! Please also thank your brother who came helping that day, actually I just want to keep thanking everyone and the universe because she’s the one who brought us all together and I am so blessed to have such universe!
