Shero + Wayne

“We live and breathe words. …. It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone. They could be honest with me, and I with them. Reading your words, what you wrote, how you were lonely sometimes and afraid, but always brave; the way you saw the world, its colors and textures and sounds, I felt the way you thought, hoped, felt, dreamt. I felt I was dreaming and thinking and feeling with you. I dreamed what you dreamed, wanted what you wanted–and then I realized that truly I just wanted you.”

I have been wanting to shoot differently lately, perhaps too many main streams stuffs. Let’s go back to the basic. Just focus on feelings. Ditch those pretty flowers, decory styled items or clothings that brings no meaning after 10 years except looking pretty right now but no feelings. I want to photograph souls, pure love, touch and expressions. Let’s wear only light fabric, go somewhere high up, somewhere different than the common, and move like a butterfly. If you don’t like to move, then stay still. I love that. Forget your shoes, forget about my existence, forget negativities, focus the right now moment. Focus on why you are here. Focus about your future. Focus on how’s it going to be if it’s not like this. Think of the lyrics of Third Eye Blind. Think of what if, this is your last day. Say only things you meant to tell. Tell me your secrets and let go. I’ll capture that moment.

Thank you, Shero and Wayne.
